We keep Brisbane’s widest range of specialised medications in stock, as well as Brisbane’s widest range of different types of insulin.
To further advantage diabetic patients, we are members of the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) through DiabetesAustralia. This enables us to provide diabetics registered with NDSS with free syringes & insulin pen needles as well as blood glucose & urine testing strips at subsidised prices.
We keep an extensive range of specialty Nutritional Products for people with special nutritional needs e.g. cancer patients, diabetics. We distribute these products Australia wide at very competitive prices. We also stock feeding tubes, pumps and consumables.
Our staff are trained in the use of nebulisers and other respiratory care devices including flutter valves, flow meters and respiratory trainers.
The Wesley Pharmacy carries a large range of incontinence care products, including hospital type incontinence products, catheters and drainage bags.
We keep a very extensive range of dressings and wound care products including silver-impregnated, hydrocolloid, tulle gras and ulcer dressings to name a few.
Our range of orthopedic appliances is ever growing. We currently stock walker boots, range-of-movement braces, abductor slings, cast boots, splints and immobilisers to fit all body types.
We keep an extensive range of antithrombotic (pressure) stockings. Our staff are trained to help you choose and fit the best size and style of stockings for your individual needs.
The Wesley Pharmacy can provide a Home Medicine Review service. This is especially useful for patients on multiple medications, and ageing patients struggling to manage new medications. We can also simplify dosing by packing medications into blister packs.
We started the first hospital in the home nursing service in Queensland, and have been providing hospital in the home for over 30 years. Our experienced team of nurses and pharmacists make it easier for patients to be discharged early from hospital, and cared for in the comfort of their own home.
The Wesley Pharmacy offers Queensland’s largest range of medical equipment for hire and sale, including bariatric products.

Breast Pump Hire
The Wesley Pharmacy has a fleet of over 90 electronic breast pumps available for hire. Once you have expressed using a high quality electric pump, you will never return to a hand pump.
We have Medela Lactina, Medela Symphony and Ameeda Standard pumps available for hire.
Our hire rates are set out below:
- Medela Lactina [Deposit $300 Hire $74.75 per month]
- Medela Symphony [Deposit $300 Hire $115 per month]
- Ameeda Standard [Deposit $300 Hire $74.75 per month]

For the sake of clarity, you don’t need to have been a patient at The Wesley Hospital’s maternity ward in order to use our services. We are happy to help anybody.
Founding Partner Peter Brand AM
On the 8th of June 2009 our founding partner was made a Member of the Order of Australia.
Peter is one of 12 recipients (ever) in our industry of this very prestigious award. He is the only Queenslander to ever receive these honors for any pharmacy related endeavor.
The citation on Peter’s award is “For service to the pharmacy profession as a practitioner and through representative and educational roles.”
Our organisation’s foundation stone has always been striving for excellence in patient focused customer service. This is the culture that Peter Brand AM created and is the culture that will continue at The Wesley Pharmacy.

The Wesley Pharmacy offers Queensland’s largest range of medical equipment for hire and sale.
We keep everything from crutches to bed wetting alarms to infusion pumps.
We also have equipment specially manufactured for patients over 120kg.
We can arrange for delivery and collection all over Queensland.
